The European part of the Russian Federation should to be demilitarized – the Minister of Defense of Ukraine

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov considers Russian missile attacks on Ukraine a strategic challenge for the security of Europe.

He wrote about this on Facebook, reacting to the attacks on Ukrainian cities on June 26.

According to the Minister, it is necessary to strengthen sanctions against Russia to such a level that it loses the ability to manufacture and maintain high-tech weapons in working order.

Reznikov also considers it necessary to rapidly deploy effective air / missile defense systems in Ukraine.

This is an additional 500 – 1 000 km of safety for every European city.

According to Reznikov, this is a very clear and logical step, which should be envisaged in the NATO strategy.

“The long-term answer is just as obvious. The demilitarization of at least the European part of the terrorist state should become a condition for dialogue on the renewal of relations between russia and the civilized world,” Reznikov wrote.

According to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, the extent and specifics of the future demilitarization of the European part of the Russian Federation should be determined by specialists.
