Satellite images of the airfield attacked on the night of April 27, 2024, in the Russian village of Kushchyovskaya, Krasnodar Krai, have appeared online.

Corresponding pictures were released by analyst Brady Afrik in his X (ex-Twitter) page.

Satellite images show traces of a large fire in one of the parking spots.

A large area of fire indicates that the aircraft may have been on this site, however, at least visually, there is no debris of the aircraft.

It can be assumed that the Russians promptly removed the debris, or in this settlement there could be a warehouse of ammunition, fuels, lubricants, or vehicles.

A smaller spot is located opposite the parking space, there could also be an aircraft, a warehouse or vehicles.

In another place in the airfield, identified by the OSINT community as a warehouse for control and correction modules, traces of damage are also visible.

The Su-27/30/34/35 aircraft that were placed next to this wharehouse, also have spots that look like traces of a fire. At the same time, that spot can also be just a shadow or trace visible in the airfield’s coverage.

Russian propagandist Fighterbomber (Ilya Tumanov) made comments on the issue. He said that for the amount of damage caused by this strike, it was possible to build a shelter for the regular number of aircraft of one regiment.

Recall that in addition to the airfield, drones attacked oil infrastructure and other facilities in the Slovianskomy, Seversky, and Kushchyovsky districts of the Krasnodar Krai.

It is known about the attack on the Ilsky refinery, the tank farm allegedly was not damaged, due to the built-up protection system. At the same time, the rectification column suffered damage.

In total, according to local authorities, 66 drones attacked the Krasnodar Krai.
